Outside In is the start to another fantastic series by Maria V. Snyder. It is different from her other work, yet carries many of the same themes and great quality. I think this new series will bring in new readers and delight devoted fans.

Other by Karen Kincy is a standout in recent debut authors. The believable use of a varied group of legends speaks to not only young adults but also everyone who has ever felt they are other, or feared those who they see as other.
Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Iron King by Julie Kagawa is a young adult novel that will delight those that enjoy reading about fey and those that have felt that they just do not fit in. A wonderful example of why we should give new authors a chance.
