Insatiable by Meg Cabot takes a heroine that is fallible and incredibly tired of hearing about vampires and throws her right in the middle of a vampire war. Meena is a work-a-holic writer on a soap opera who cannot seem to catch a break and is sick of society's obsession with vampires. For hundreds of years vampire have been forbidden to kill humans, now someone is doing it quite publicly. The vampire prince is coming to the city to put a stop to it. As you might expect their paths met and sparks fly. However, this is not a typical romance.
