A Fun Detective Romance
What The Lady Wants by Jennifer Crusie starts off with Mitch sitting in his office dreaming of a Sam Spade inspired mystery, when one walks in his door. Mae comes in wearing a borrowed suit intended to get his attention
and a story that isn't quite true to get him to take her case. Neither is quite what they appear to be, they are both much more. The book follows their search for answers and a romance that both fight for as long as they can.
