Book Review: Honeymoon of the Dead

The Fifth and Final Book in Tate Hallaway's Garnet Lacey Series
Honeymoon of the Dead by Tate Hallaway is the fifth and final book in the Garnet Lacey Series. As with most series I do not recommend jumping in here, if the series sounds interesting to you start with the first book, Tall, Dark and Dead. The series is a fun but sometimes troubling romp about Garnet Lacey, a witch that seems to be a magnet for trouble. Somehow, in her brushes with disaster, she has bonded with the goddess Lilith and carries her inside. This leads to different forms of disaster when she gets into trouble and Lilith takes over, often leaving death and destruction in her wake. Sounds a little dark, and there are some moments in the series that are, however the author's voice and Garnet's life manage to give light and funny moments for an enthralling balance.
