Scaredy Squirrel Prepares for Halloween is a book that makes the dangers and fun inherent in Halloween understandable for readers of all ages. Safety of Scaredy's largest priority, and he manages to cover costume decisions, pumpkin carving, and trick or treat safety in a way that is fun but thorough without making kids afraid to get out there and enjoy the spookiest night of the year. As a fun of the author, and the Scaredy Squirrel series in particular, I think that this is a must read for all young trick-or-treaters and I highly recommend it.
